Snickers Cookie in a Cup!

Since everybody loves delicious, easy, and super fast recipes this time I want to share with you one of my favorites. It's an Snickers Cookie in a cup/mug in less than 5 minutes! Let's begin:

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tablespoon of Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon of Granulated White Sugar
  • 3 Drops of Vanilla Extract
  • Small Pinch of Kosher Salt
  • 1 Egg Yolk (discard the egg white or save for differente recipe)
  • Scant ¼ of All Purpose Flour (slightly less than ¼ of a cup)
  • 2 Snicker Minis (You can also try it with your favorite kind of chocolate)

Instructions

1. Start by melting your butter in the microwave. Butter should just be melted, not boiling.
2. Add sugars, vanilla and salt. Stir to combine.
3. Separate your egg (you can do so with a spoon) and add the yolk only to your cup. Stir to combine.

4. Add flour, then stir again. Measure a scant, slightly less than full, ¼ cup of all-purpose flour.
5. Smash the chocolate with your fingers, then add it to the mix, and give a final stir.

6. Cook in microwave 40-60 seconds, start checking for doneness at 40 seconds. Mine takes 60 seconds. Do not cook past one minute, just like a regular cookie, this will continue cooking as it cools. If the cookie is dry or cake like, try less time.

    Enjoy!

Do you accept the challenge?

One of the most famous resolutions of new year is "Do more exercises". Although I have been thinking that I should, mine wasn't but, searching through the web (it wasn't even related) I found something called "The squats challenge", I ask a few friends that have made it before and they told me that it really help and tonifies your legs so I decide to start it. Today is my 9th day and I feel great because I'm doing something helpful for my health and body. The challenge only has 1 different exercise which you have to do each day, and the time spent doing the exercise slowly increases day by day to help you build up your core body muscle strength gradually, ensuring you are able to complete the final day of the challenge easily. So if one of your resolutions was the one stated above or you simply are looking for something heatlhy to do, I challenge you to do it. Below is the chart you will need, and a video that shows how to correctly do a squat. Remember to warm up first!

If you decide to accept the challenge I would love you to let me know in the comments so we could get through it together.

Somehow I find this reading tag, and since I'm a book lover I inmediately knew I need to do it.

1. Do you have a certain place for reading at home?

      Yes, my bed. <3

2. Bookmark or random piece of paper?

Bookmarks, when I find them. xD

3. Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter or certain number of pages?

I usually don't want to stop, but when this happen I stop after reading a complete character.

4. Do you eat or drink when reading?

Only when I have to and don't want to keep reading.

5. Do you watch TV or listen to music when reading?

   Sounds like too much distraction...

6. One book at a time or several at once?

One at a time, sometimes two but no more than that.

7. Reading at home or everywhere?

   Definitely everywhere.

 8. Reading out loud or silently in your head?

Silently in my head, it's easier to get inmerse in what you are reading that way.

 9. Do you ever read ahead or skip pages?

Sometimes I skip a few pages and read a few sentences but then I go back to where I have left.

10. Breaking the spine or keeping it new?

You have no idea how meticulous I can be keeping my books new.

11. Do you write in your books?

This goes along with the last answer...

12. What are you currently reading?

I usually read a book before watch it's movie but this time, after watching The Giver a few days ago I start to read the book.

It was fun to answer the questions, if you want, feel free to do it yourself.
